I'm so excited to have launched this new initiative. The aim of New Shoots is to combine the talents of local businesses and showcase fresh, local produce. We held our inaugural event on the evening of Saturday 19th January 2019.
It was a beautiful evening in the newly renovated courtyard. Guests sipped cocktails from Peisley’s, and dined on Award winning products from Eden Smokehouse, which were showcased in the canapés and grazing board prepared by A Pinch Of Yum.
The event was a huge success and we are already planning the next one, so stay tuned!
A little bit about each business that was showcased at this event:
Eden Smokehouse
Producers of artisan gourmet smoked foods. On offer were mussels, old-style bacon, rainbow trout, and chicken. Two award-winning products were also showcased - Atlantic Salmon and gravlax.
Peisley’s
The newest, and cutest, vintage styled caravan on the coast. Peisley’s operates as a Juice & Shake Bar, offering slow pressed juices and freakshakes that have to be seen to be believed. But they also offer a fully licensed bar service, which is what was on offer at New Shoots, showcasing local beer (on tap!), wine, spirits and signature cocktails.
A Pinch of Yum Catering
This mother and daughter team provide full professional catering for private parties, weddings, baby showers, and other special & corporate events. Be wowed by their grazing tables, or send a grazing box to someone special.
Sprout Eden
Providing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon treats 7 days a week. We encourage local gardeners to sell us any amount of their excess fruit and vegetables to be proudly sold in the shop and used by our kitchen
